Student Experience

Bangalore is one of the top 10 entrepreneurial cities in the world. The metropolis bustles with technology, design, and fashion providing access to some of the most creative industry professionals. Student life at White Pencil, in India’s finest young city, is an exciting experience. The courses are vocational and a tight schedule keeps students busy. They will have the opportunity to experience a host of workshops, seminars, lectures by well known fashion designers, editors, journalists, stylists, photographers, creative directors and stalwarts of the jewellery and interior business, webinars, discussion groups, self directed learning, and field visits to designer studios, galleries and museums. The facilities are integrated in a way that students and teaching staff are united by a single goal – work hard, learn well and have fun!

Unique Approach

Through our programme of industry practitioners and lively workshops, students have already had extensive engagement with the work before they leave the college. Our intensive courses mean that students receive a minimum of 30 hours formal teaching each week, plus additional study time during which they will be expected to complete assignments. Our courses offer unrivalled industry links and partnerships, and unique access to industry insiders, thus presenting a significant learning opportunity to our students.
